About the Artist
Leslie J. Bowman

Leslie Bowman-Friedlander received her B.A. in Art History from the Johns Hopkins University. She is a self-taught quiltmaker whose contemporary wall hangings have won numerous awards. She is also the recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Fellowship award in crafts. She lives in Maryland where she is a full time studio artist.
